Birk Yoga – Studio Rental Terms & Conditions

By booking and using the studio at Birk Yoga, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking and Payment

Studio bookings must be made through the Birk Yoga booking system, SuperSaaS, unless otherwise agreed with Birk Yoga.
Payments are processed through Stripe via the SuperSaaS booking system.
A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed and a booking confirmation has been received.
All prices and any applicable additional charges will be communicated to the renter before the booking is confirmed.

The studio may only be used during the agreed booking period.
Renters are responsible for arriving and leaving on time. The rental period includes any time needed for setup, cleaning and tidying.
The studio must be vacated by the end of the booked period.
Access codes and key box instructions will be provided once the booking has been confirmed.
Access codes and keys must not be shared with unauthorised persons.
Renters must ensure that all doors are securely locked when leaving the premises.
Any access codes or keys provided must be kept secure and must not be copied or shared without prior permission.

The studio may only be used for the purpose agreed upon at the time of booking.
The maximum permitted capacity is 15 people.
The studio, furniture and equipment must be treated with care and respect.
Available equipment, including yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets and chairs, may be used where permitted.
Renters are responsible for ensuring that any chairs and other equipment they use are handled appropriately.
Furniture and equipment must be returned to their original places after use.
The studio must not be used for illegal activities or activities that cause damage, excessive noise or disturbance to others.
Smoking is prohibited inside the premises.

Renters must leave the studio clean, tidy and in the same general condition as it was upon arrival.
All personal belongings, rubbish and materials brought into the studio must be removed after the rental period.
Any furniture or equipment used must be returned to its designated place.
Any spills, damage or other issues must be reported to Birk Yoga as soon as possible.
Additional cleaning required as a result of the renter's use of the studio may be charged at a reasonable and documented cost.

Renters are responsible for damage to the studio, furniture, equipment or other property caused by their negligence, misuse or failure to follow these Terms & Conditions.
Renters are responsible for the conduct of their participants and for ensuring that they use the studio and its equipment appropriately.
Any damage must be reported to Birk Yoga promptly.
Where the renter is responsible for damage or loss, reasonable and documented repair or replacement costs may be charged.
Birk Yoga is not responsible for personal belongings lost, stolen or damaged on the premises, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Renters are responsible for any keys provided to them during the rental period.
Lost or unreturned keys must be reported to Birk Yoga immediately.
If a key is lost and the lock must be rekeyed or replaced for security reasons, the renter may be charged the reasonable and documented costs of the locksmith, replacement lock and necessary replacement keys, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Renters must not copy keys, change locks or make alterations to the access system without prior written permission from Birk Yoga.
Access codes must not be disclosed to unauthorised persons.
Renters must ensure that the premises are securely locked when leaving.

Cancellations and booking changes must be communicated directly to Birk Yoga.
Cancellations, refunds and any applicable fees are subject to the cancellation terms communicated to the renter before booking.
Requests to change a booking are subject to availability and require approval from Birk Yoga.
If Birk Yoga cancels a confirmed booking, the renter will be offered a refund for the affected rental period or an alternative booking by agreement.
Any refunds due will be processed through the original payment method where possible.

Renters are responsible for the conduct of everyone attending their session or event.
Emergency exits and access routes must remain clear at all times.
Accidents, injuries or safety concerns occurring during the rental period must be reported to Birk Yoga as soon as possible.
Renters must ensure that their activities are appropriate for the premises and that any necessary qualifications, permissions and insurance are in place.
The studio must be left secure when the renter leaves.
The renter must comply with reasonable safety instructions provided by Birk Yoga.

Renters must comply with applicable Danish law and reasonable rules relating to the use of the premises.
Renters are responsible for obtaining any permits, professional qualifications or insurance required for their own activities.
These Terms & Conditions are subject to applicable Danish law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Birk Yoga uses SuperSaaS for booking management and Stripe for payment processing.
When making a booking, the renter acknowledges that personal data necessary to manage the booking and process payment may be shared with and processed by SuperSaaS and Stripe, in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
Such data may include the renter's name, contact details, booking information and payment-related information.
Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not intended to be stored directly by Birk Yoga.
SuperSaaS and Stripe may process personal data in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
Birk Yoga handles personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
For further information about how personal data is processed, renters should consult Birk Yoga's privacy policy and the privacy policies of SuperSaaS and Stripe.

By confirming a booking and using the studio, the renter acknowledges that they have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
